Last week Robin of The Thrifty Peach gave me an honorary Liebster Award nomination. As I had already been nominated before I can’t accept the award for a second time. That however doesn’t stop me from having fun and answering the questions. Nor does it stop me from mentioning that Robin over at The Thrifty Peach is in my opinion a great blogger and someone you should totally take the time to go and check her out for yourself. I promise you wont be sorry!
Now onto the questions:
1. Why did you start your blog?
I started leatherdepot191.com as a way to chronicle my families journey to debt freedom. But I also wanted to create a resource for families who are struggling with debt and trying to become debt free. I wanted my blog to be a reliable source of information that was easy to understand, and had lots of ideas that could also be easily implemented no matter a person’s income.
2. What are your special talents?
Like Robin I believe that mothering, and parenting in general is a special talent all on it’s own. Outside of that, I enjoy photography, cake decorating, and writing (of course).
3. What is your favorite food or meal?
I thought long and hard about this one, but came up empty handed. I don’t have “that one food” that makes everything right in the world.
4. What has been your favorite post yet?
My favorite post so far is Two Kids And A Pile Of Debt it pretty much sums up why I’m here and why we are so motivated to pay off our debt.
5. What do you love most about the month of September?
Fall is my favorite season. The changing of the leaves, the smell of the earth, the gradual cooling down from a hot humid season. I love wearing long sleeved sweaters sitting around a campfire with a cup of hot mulled apple cider or even rum spiced cider. The fair comes to town and our sleepy little village is bustling with activity for one week each year. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. :o)
Again if you haven’t checked out Robins blog yet you really should.
