It’s never been my intention to turn Two Kids And A Budget into a deals, an app, or even a get paid to blog. Although sometimes it feels like I’ve done just that. It has always been my intention though to share with you the things I participate in that helps my family stretch it’s budget every month.
There are a couple special promotions going on right now that I wanted to share with all of you. I know that some of you participate in these programs, others are on the fence but most of you could benefit from at least one, if not both of them.
Bing Search Rewards
In my post One Mom’s Honest Swagbucks Review I made the statement that it’s not worth the effort to do searches through their site. Do to the return on your time investment being so little. I also mentioned that there was a better way to earn swag bucks for searching the net. Bing Search Rewards is that way. Currently you can earn up to 500 swag bucks each month through doing searches on Bing. That is enough swagbucks to earn a $5.00 Amazon gift card each month and still have 25 swag bucks left in the bank!
On Wednesday I will be doing an in depth review along with an easy strategy to help you earn those rewards. For now head over to Swagbucks.com sign up for Bing Search Rewards through their special offers and earn 100 swag buck for signing up. There is no fee to get started. Once your signed up just start searching like you would on Google and start earning rewards.
If you haven’t yet signed up for Swagbucks you can do so on their site or through my referral link.
Double Your Walmart Savings Catcher Earnings
To be honest I’ve been sitting on this one for a little while, I wanted to make sure it was truly free and that it worked the way they promised before I suggested it to anyone. I’m happy to report that I haven’t had any problems using it so I am not passing the information along to you.
Walmart has teamed up with American Express and their new free Bluebird account to bring you a special promotion. From now through February 28, 2015 every time you redeem your Walmart Savings Catcher reward dollars and have them transferred to your American Bluebird account they will automatically be doubled.
Once you have redeemed your savings they are put into a special category called Walmart Bucks which are kept separate from any other money you may add to the Bluebird card. After receiving your card in the mail and activating it, you can use it when checking out at any Walmart store or on Walmart.com. It’s important to note that Walmart Bucks can only be redeemed and used for purchases made from Walmart.
One thing I like about this promoting (other than the fact that they double my money for free) is that I have a physical card to hang onto vs. trying to remember I have e-gift cards to print out and spend. Even after this promotion end and they no longer double my money I will continue to transfer my Walmart Savings Catcher reward dollars to the Bluebird account. My plan is to save everything I earn on the card throughout the year and then use that money towards Christmas 2015.
As I mentioned earlier the American Express Bluebird account is free and there is no fee for signing up online and using your Walmart Bucks. There are many other positive aspects to this account and worth checking into.
note: I am not affiliated with American Express or the Amazon Bluebird account. This is just a good deal in my opinion and wanted to pass it onto you.
