When I received this adorable baby footprint turkey from my sister-in-law I absolutely loved it! At the time my nephew was just three months old and now he is such a big boy with a little sibling on the way. I also knew that I wanted to share this super easy DIY for kids that will be a cherished keepsake for years to come!
How To Make A Baby Footprint Turkey Craft
Brown – for the body
Yellow – for the wings
Orange – for the beak
Cream – for the background
Craft Paint – we used red.
- Paint the bottom of your child foot with the craft paint then gently press their foot to the yellow construction paper. Once the paint is dry cut out your footprint wings.
- Cut two circles from the brown construction paper. One that is a little larger for the body and a smaller circle for the head.
- Cut a small triangle out of the orange construction paper for the beak. Then glue it to the back of your head circle.
- Glue your turkey body to the background paper, followed by the head and finally the footprint wings. Add the googley eye and finally draw legs and feet for your turkey.
If your family is like mine and spread across the miles during the upcoming Holiday Season sharing this craft with your loved once can make you feel a little more connected.
